Hospice of Michigan's list of 50 ways to volunteer for families with caregiving responsibilities takes the cake. I absolutely love their easy to read list. I'm inspired by just how simple it can be to help out.

This website has an interactive map with pins on cities in Michigan with National Volunteer Caregivers Network (NVCN) associated volunteer caregiver groups. You can both find help and apply to volunteer here.
According to a 2022 report from USC "Home Modification and Repairs for Older Adults and Persons with Disabilities", shows that several programs where disabled adult Michiganders can get free or low cost home repairs. Check with your local Area Agency on Aging.
Lots of sources point to the Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers (IVS), but from what I can tell it's only available in Macomb, Oakland, and St. Clair counties. Very impressive, it's one of the largest volunteer-run caregiver networks in the world. You can get help here. You can apply to volunteer here.
Helping Hands Community Center (Lansing) - Also called Active Living For All offers some community and in-home programs at least in the East Lansing area. You can apply to volunteer there too.
Senior Services (Midland) - Helping older adults remain independent in Midland county. You can apply to volunteer here.
Eastern Michigan University (Ypsilanti) - Runs a program where you can help caregivers and visit homebound seniors through their Volunteer Connection program here.
Catholic Social Services of Washtenaw County (Ypsilanti) - Offers Volunteer Caregiver Respite (VCR) services. You can contact them here.
