Michigan Area Agency on Aging

Gotta hand it to the Area Agency on Aging for supporting thousands of Michigan seniors. But boy oh boy is it difficult to find the right website for my ZIP code.

With 16 separate regions across Michigan, and URLs like aaa1b.org, region7aaa.org, and r2aaa.net, it's not easy to find the right one for my region.

After running into this problem a dozen times, I finally thought to look it up myself. What is the right Area Agency on Aging for my location? I heard their are 16 different regions. How is Michigan divided up?

Gratiot County Area Agency on Aging (AAA)

Gratiot county belongs to the Region VII Area Agency on Ageing (region7aaa.org). Alongside the counties of Bay, Clare, Gladwin, Gratiot (again), Huron, Isabella, Country, Midland, Saginaw, Sanilac, and Tuscola.

How many AAA Regions are there in Michigan total?

Michigan has approximately 14 to 16 Regions served by the Area Agency on Aging. Each Region is comprised of a group of adjacent counties in most areas or cities in urban areas.

I was able to find a PDF Document from the Michigan.gov website with contact information to 14 Michigan Area Agency on Aging's, and I am copy/pasting the information directly from the Michigan.gov MDHHS "Area Agencies on Aging: Counties Served / Phone Numbers PDF Document, plus adding a website by my own research, so you can check them out online before you call.

CareMichigan.org has a table of 15 Area Agency on Aging Regions in Michigan, so I'm literally combining them and putting them below with a website added.
