Have you ever bought something, and then just let it sit there?
Spotsaving is a business transaction to better utilize resources.
When you own something of value that’s not getting used…
…maybe up getting dusty, up in the house closet…
…ask a family-owned business owner in your neighborhood to spotsave it for you.

Imagine you have an industrial grade dishwashing sink that’s just sitting in your garage. Because somebody else bought it and never properly installed it. So it never got used to wash a single dish,
The dishwashing sink is basically brand new, after you brush the dust off and account for possible rust.
I bet the local restaurant down the block would gladly house your dishwashing sink for a couple months before you move apartments and ask for it back A-OK.
Ask the restaurant boss if they’d consider spotsaving that dish sink for several months before giving it back to you.
Spotsavers help each other out by utilizing resources in a good economy way.
The owner of the dishwashing sink asked the local family restaurant..
“Can you spotsave this dishwasher for three months? It’s just taking up space in my apartment, and I bet your business could use it for dishwashing. At the end of three months, I’ll come by and pick it up A-OK. What do you think? Take your time. Here’s my number. See ya!”
For ex-musicians who haven’t picked up their instrument since the 2019 pandemic broke out close to home… Your instrument is just sitting in the closet.
Ask your local music location whether or not they’d be interested in letting one other their musical constituents enjoy your instrument for a while.
Acoustic guitarists, for example, make followers at coffee shops. Could the local coffee joint spotsave your six-string for a while? Let guests play the guitar like a hippie circle if they want to make friends over music and coffee.
Disc jockeys, for example, who haven’t played tracks in public, would get better use of their turntables in a record shop. Could I please setup my turntables in your shop and just leave them here for a month? I’d welcome either your staff or guests to play around on them, as long as you don’t break them.
To complete a spotsaving contract, two people share resources for a couple of weeks or months then end it A-OK.
Spotsaving is a temporary contract where “You scratch my back, and I’ll scratch yours”.
Those people both share in mutual benefit. They can be independent contractors and/or entity owners, as long as you’re paying tax to the local and national come February.
A win-win business transaction is the first success of the spotsaving business model.
Say you’ve got a good-working lawn mower, but you ain’t got no yard.
You also don’t have a garage to store the lawn mower, so it’s sitting on on your deck in plain sight.
One day, you see your neighbor’s grass grown over 12-inches tall, a yellow-flag to some cities’ ordinance laws.
So you visit your neighbor friendly style and ask…
“Would you like to use my lawn mower? In fact, if you wanted to keep it for the summer, I’d be happy to pick it up come winter. It’s just been sitting on my deck, so you’d be doing me a favor. You can use it for mowing purposes anytime. Just stay safe. All I’d ask is you pay for gas and keep it in good condition.
