
Showing up to get support is a huge first step. One that after 15+ years dealing with my dad's Parkinson's, I've finally begun seeking.
It's so important to ask for help, so I'm helping Michigan's families with Parkinson's find a group of people you can confide in. Try it. It's not as bad as you think!
The Michigan Parkinson's Foundation offers online Zoom support groups for all people in the State of Michigan.
Look to the Michigan Parkinson's Foundation Support Group Map for full-fledged county-by-county listings.

MPF (Michigan Parkinson's Foundation) lists Excercize and Movement programs across the state, though these aren't as easy-access as their support group coverage. Here's the PDF of MPS Exercise, Boxing, Dance, and other physical movement in-person groups.
Pro Tip: If you're not satisfied with the support in your small town area, maybe the support group in a nearby city might be a better fit (and longer drive). I'm looking at Lansing's MPF support group chapter.
The Parkinson & Movement Disorder Alliance (PMD Alliance), categorizes Michigan's in-person Parkinson's support groups by State Region:

MyMichigan Health organizes Parkinson's support groups across 5 locations.
The Area Agency on Aging (AAA 1-B) Site does the same for another set of Michigan locations.
Other local Parkinson's support groups include:
