After asking ChatGPT for advice, do you actually follow through — then do adopt the behavior change ChatGPT has suggested to you?

We used to ask Google for personal advice.

Now we’re confiding in Gemini, ChatGPT, and Copilot.

Just spilling our hearts out since they’ll respond with affirmation at least.

When my trusted GPT therapist (not really a licensed therapist) tasks me a 3 to 5 step plan, I copy/paste it into a document on Google Drive, and continue on with my day.

Have you ever heard the saying “Too Many Tabs Open” to describe feeling overwhelmed by tasks with fear of failure certain? I keep the tab open while I do other productive stuff on my computer, then when I flip back to it on accident, I add one or two things to it.

The moral of the story is — when you find yourself asking for a chat interface generative pre-trained transformer (GPT) app on your computer or phone, copy / paste the 3-5 step plan given to you. You’re more likely to complete the task and reflect on it when you save it into a place you can edit and add to over time.

When you ask an AI app for advice, and you go through the steps in a document easy to write from time to time — you took ChatGPT’s response and made it actionable in your life.
