A measure called Brix tells you the same thing. Regular tart cherry juice measures between 10 to 15 Brix, but typical tart cherry juice concentrate measures almost 70 Brix, according to data from the Cherry Marketing Institute. My limited understanding of the measure Brix tells me that's about 7 times more cherries per unit.
This math is (coincidentally?) corroborated by the general practice of mixing ONE ounce tart cherry juice concentrate with SEVEN to EIGHT ounces of pure water, in order to achieve a palatably tart glass of healthy tart cherry at home.
