Foot health is the Number #1 reason to try suction-cupping a silicone foot scrubber into the bathtub bottom of your daily routine.

Comfy foot scrubbing for many months of use? The soft and healthy silicone foot scrubber is a high-value, low-cost self-care item for both foot care and shower safety.

Why silicone scrubs feet better.

In 2026, I exclusively consider healthy food-grade silicone for my bathtime scrubbing. Sit or stand with a flexible and easy-to-grab silicone material with bristles and grooves designed to scrub skin.

We’re sticking with feet today, but may I make one broad claim? Silicone material cleans skin better than its hard bristle brush predecessors in all categories of body scrubbing: hand, body, feet, and back.

Food-grade soft silicone may irritate sensitive skin even less than all-natural materials.

In the category of synthetic materials, like nylon bristles or plastic bristles on body brushes, silicone material may be less harsh on the skin and the environment.

You’ll come clean with a silicone feet scrubber’s many benefits for both feet hygiene and floor grip.

Graycare is NOT a doctor.

A non-slip surface when standing to shower.

Shower-takers get extra benefit because the silicone foot scrubber does double duty as a non-slip mat.

With suction cups on the bottom, the scrubber firmly sticks to the shower floor, providing a stable surface for one foot while washing the other.

My 12-months personal experience is having the foot scrubber suction-cupped to the bathtub bottom helps me keep balance while showering. As a man who’s a smidge off from over the hill, I’m not proud to admit that. I say, this added grip is good for adults who may not be ready for “assistive products” but do want to reduce the risk of slipping in the shower.

Best Silicone Foot Scrubbers

By estimate for adults, the aging, the elderly, and their caregivers - I’d consider these fine foot scrubbers for my family.

#1 LOVE, LORI

LOVE, LORI on Amazon | LOVE, LORI is the standard quality silicone foot scrubber described by my 12-months personal use. It’s a five-star excellent value for healthy feet.

#2 BESKAR

BESKAR on Amazon | One comparable extra large foot scrubber for use when showering. BESKAR looks like a brand with expert focus to clean your feet in the shower.

#3 HONYIN

HONYIN on Amazon | Another silicone mat which can hold two feet or one foot at a time. People choose HONYIN by preference over BESKAR and LOVE, LORI and when there’s a discount on one or the other.

#4 Tbestmax

Tbestmax on Amazon | In a piece about the silicone material for ergonomic foot care, it seems out of place to rub against a hard-plastic frame, synthetic-bristle foot scrubber. In the end, it’s good for comparison to know what hard plastic, hard bristle, medical blue foot scrubbing equipment could look like in your bathroom. One shouldn’t ignore a bristled heel skin grinder stone with hundreds of five-star ratings. Silicone - I still believe - is a newer and better material for bath-advanced foot hygiene in-home.

#5 BESKAR

BESKAR on Amazon | BESKAR brand is back with a dark grey bristle brush and sizable black pumice grinding stone. Designed to scuff dead skin and callus off your heels while standing up, please be careful about balance, and hold onto something secure to prevent dangerous slips and falls.

#6 Meidong

Meidong on Amazon | Leave it to forward-flexible silicone to change shape once again! Meidong brand’s soft silicone foot-shaped scrubbing enclosure is shaped like the most traditional Tbestmax but fashioned with comfy-soft silicone material.

Pro Tip: Hang-Dry to Avoid Black Gunk

After about 9 months of use, you will start to notice black gunk build up.

But you can greatly slow the spread of black gunk on your silicone foot scrubber by hanging it vertical on the smooth shower wall. When the foot scrubber hangs upright on the wall, water whisks off so the material dries off quicker and stays nice longer.

Black gunk build up over time is one drawback to these scrubbers. If you do nothing and leave the foot scrubber in a puddle of after-shower water, expect black gunk to build up within 1 to 3 months.

Air drying the unit vertically on the tile wall is the proper way to upkeep.

Pro Tip: Replace When Bristles Begin Falling Off

Despite proper maintenance, the silicone material will eventually show signs of wear and tear. Black gunk and bristle deterioration generally spread in tandem, especially when you keep your unit soggy between showers.

After around 6 to 9 months, the bristles may start to fall off.

But thinking back how I got daily foot scrubs out of the unit accentuates such a silicone food scrubbers’ best-in-class value and affordability.

Summary

Having used a soft, food-grade silicone foot scrubber for over 12 months, I’ve found it to outperform hard-bristle brush alternatives in nearly every aspect. Silicone is softer on the skin, more flexible, and retains its scrub-ability over time, except for black gunk buildup and eventual deterioration. Silicone is easy to clean, and you can get a longer lifespan out of your silicone foot scrubber if you hang it dry when not in use.

  • Feet scrubbers. Scrubbing the tips of your toes and the achy bottoms of health promotes blood flow, almost like you’re giving yourself a good massage.
  • Foot scrubber vs Body scrubber. Foot scrubbers are intended to take your time with one or two feet at a time, but I know from sudsy experience that a clean silicone foot scrubber is good to scrub skin head to toe, including the scalp.
  • Stand-up scrubbing vs Sit-down scrubbing. Foot scrubbers are advertised to shower-takers standing up, but bath-takers know it’s good when sitting down too.

***Shower Safety Warning: Seriously, be careful not to fall when testing a new shower product. Please take extra precaution with silicone self-care products while you are sudsing slippery at risk of injury.***
